The surprising and unique area of this protected landscape Río Tinto in Huelva is famous for its peculiar Moonscapes or better said, “Marscapes”, furrowed by the emblematic red Río Tinto river which course and riverbanks are a true haven of amazing “microlandscapes” of spectacular colours and shapes.
For these characteristics we organize here photography workshops, which are especially recommended for photographers interested in the portrait of the landscape in its more abstract facet or in adding a series of original and new images to their portfolio.
About the places to visit:

About the workshops:
The trips and workshops are taught by two teachers with demonstrated experience in landscape and night photography, and are suitable for a wide audience; from those wanting to know and visit interesting places, the enthusiastic amateur trying to improve his skills up to the professional who seeks to expand his photographic portfolio.
The workshops seek to familiarize participants with different theoretical and practical aspects of the photography of night and landscape photography and prepare them for the different situations and possibilities on the landscapes.
Several photography manuals are provided to students in the course. Apart from the essential technical part the workshops emphasize much on the subject of the composition as well as on the language of artistic expression and on the creative empowerment.
The photographic excursions are focused on learning and applying the concepts previously discussed in the theoretical workshops, apart from showing participants spectacular places from the cultural, natural and scenic point of view and spend a pleasant stay in them, accompanied by two photographic experts who know the area and who are fully available for any questions and advice.
The workshop includes in addition viewings of the work carried out by the students, in which technical and aesthetic aspects of the images are discussed, accompanied by advice on how to improve in both aspects.
Although it is not essential to assist, it is recommended to go with basic knowledge of photography and DSLR camera, tripod and filters to take advantage of the workshops.
Polarizing filters and the neutral grey filter of a minimum of 6 stops are helpful for this landscape photography.
It is also recommended to bring old mountain boots or rubber boots, to walk more easily by the River area.

How to get there?
The rural accommodation is located about 15 kilometres from Nerva, municipality situated about 75 kilometers from Seville. When approaching the date we will send you a more detailed description of how to get to the accommodation. To reach the places to portray, some routes pass through not asphalted roads, normally passable for a car in normal conditions and in some cases it can be necessary to make some journeys on foot so we recommend that participants are used to walk in Nature.
Observation: The realization of the photographs depends quite a lot of the weather on the ground. Andalusia has a good climate with many sunny hours and few days of rain, however the weather can vary.
Andalus Phototour reserves the right to modify schedules and routes where circumstances do require (e.g.. Rain, bad state or access roads) for the benefit of the participants and their photos.
